Now I don’t know about everyone, but I grew up reading the comics that my older cousins had.. and it was the shit! I never saw so much violence…

But here comes Disney with it’s fart’s of sunshine coming in and  buying out Marvel… though, for roughly 4 billion I’d understand..

But what the hell! I don’t want to see Wolverine swap his claws for piano skills, nor do I want to see the cast of X-men starring in their own fucking musical.

Now… is it the function of education merely to help you to conform to the pattern of this rotten social order, or is it to give you freedom - complete freedom to grow and create a different society, a new world? We want to have this freedom, not in the future, but now, otherwise we may all be destroyed.

Do you know what attention is? Let us find out. In a classroom, when you stare out of the window or pull sombody’s hair, the teacher tells you to pay attention. Which means what? That you are not interested in what you are studying and so the teacher compels you to pay attention - which is not attention at all. Attention comes when you are deeply interested in something, for then you love to find out all about it; then your whole mind, your whole being is there.

I wonder if we have ever asked ourselves what education means. Why do we go to school, why do we learn various subjects, why do we pass examinations and compete with each other for better grades? What does this so-called education mean, and what is it all about? This is really a very important question, not only for the students, but also for the parents, for the teachers, and for everyone who loves this earth.

Why do we go through the struggle to be educated? Is it merely in order to pass some examinations and get a job? Or is it the function of education to prepare us while we are young to understand the whole process of life? Having a job and earning one’s livelihood is necessary - but is that all? Are we being educated only for that? Surely, life is not merely a job, an occupation; life is something extraordinarily wide and profound, it is a great mystery, a vast realm in which we function as human beings. If we merely prepare ourselves to earn a livelihood, we shall miss the whole point of life; and to understand life is much more important than merely to prepare for examinations and become very proficient in mathematics, physics, or what have you.

It has occured to me that the CSU budget cuts are extremely destroying the student’s natural progress in life.

I don’t understand how they (the government) can cut 40 million or 43 million dollars from all CSU’s in the system and totally screw the students over! Tuition increased a good 15% and there are fewer classes available to choose from.

I just don’t fucking get it! There was a cap at 14 units, and priority was given to graduating seniors seniors, and down the list. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY UPPERCLASSMEN that didn’t take these classes before these budget cuts?! LAZY?!

I’m trying my best to find any available classes to take so I can knock shit out of the way, but by the look of things, THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN. I’m so fucking pissed off that there are so many fingers to point and no way to eliminate this godforsaken problem!

UC’s are somewhat affected by this, but not as much as the CSU systems… I mean, we take in a shitload of students and we don’t even charge much for tuition from the getgo, and now when our tuition is increased there are less class sections opened?! and less options available?!

I’m so fucking pissed off! This is going to throw me off my momentum from graduating in 4 years to possibly 5 years. FUCK THAT! I WILL NOT ALLOW MYSELF TO FALL BEHIND. I cannot believe the goddamn government is willing to cut opportunities for students because the government screwed shit up! WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR FUCKING MISTAKES?!

… Fuck man. Already slammed with homework. I want to go watch movies with Dmai and them, but I just can’t shake off the homework.

Gonna go return Hai’s lens tonight, and probably buy the flash off of him and head to the gym at 1 AM. I don’t have biology (hopefully get in) until 10 AM, so yeah.

Also, I’m sooo hoping i can get into my Financial Accounting class. I need that if I want an intern with Google or Microsoft, or even a top job over the summer.
